vocab 11/2/2009 ( quarter 2 vocab 1)

narrative- is a story that is created in a constructive format (as a work of writing, speech, poetry, prose, pictures, song, motion pictures, video games, theatre or dance) that describes a sequence of fictional or non-fictional events. example stand by me

motif-any recurring element in a story that has symbolic significance(symbols in final destination)

apotheosis-refers to the exaltation of a subject to divine level

mundane-is a person who does not belong to a particular group, according to the members of that group; the implication is that such persons, lacking imagination, are concerned solely with the mundane: the quotidian and ordinary. example, blase people, people with a mythodical exsistance.
